A Thousand Stories

During my years working on the frontlines of the housing and homelessness sector, I met people whose stories entirely reshaped how I see the world. I quickly realised that traditional reports and spreadsheets could never truly hold the depth, fragility, and incredible resilience of the human beings behind them.

A Thousand Stories became my way of making sense of it all. It is how I process the heavy realities I witnessed, translating those complex experiences into something tactile and true.

Through these raw, hand-drawn pen illustrations and fragments of writing, I want to honor the connections I made and capture the invisible spaces between us—the community, the warmth, and the shared humanity I found along the way. It is an exploration of what it means to survive, to belong, and to be seen.
